Why has Germany prevented supply of Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine Inside Story

The Ukraine War is nearing its second year a return to large-scale warfare in Europe which would have been unimaginable only 12 months ago. Germany is under intense pressure to allow the supply of its most modern tank, the Leopard 2, to Ukraine. While the war continues, the supply of weapons to Ukraine has become something of an international political battle in itself.
