JUST 8 HOURS TO REACH SPACE
Dragon is a spacecraft built by SpaceX, an American private company, flying this mission for NASA. On October 1, 2026, a Falcon 9 rocket launched Dragon carrying the Crew-13 mission, and the capsule docked with the ISS just 7 hours and 55 minutes later. It was the fastest crewed journey for an American spacecraft; typically, Dragon takes 15–24 hours. The world record for a crewed flight is still held by Russia's Soyuz: 3 hours and 3 minutes, set in 2020.
The Crew-13 team consists of four members: two NASA astronauts (USA), one Canadian astronaut, and one Russian cosmonaut. They will stay on the ISS for about six months.
