Durian Fruit
Durian fruit grows on large, leafy trees. The durian tree has a strong trunk, sturdy branches, and green leaves. The fruit hangs from the branches of the tree. It is round to oblong in shape, green or dark in color, and its rind is covered in sharp thorns. Young durian fruits are typically green, while ripe ones emit a strong, distinctive aroma. Inside, there is yellow or white flesh with a sweet taste and a soft texture. Durian trees grow extensively in tropical regions, including Indonesia.
