The Serval: The Cat With the Deadliest Ears on Earth

In the tall grass of the African wetland... something is listening to you breathe. 🐱 This is the serval — the strangest cat on Earth. It has the longest legs of any cat alive, ears like radar dishes that rotate independently, and a hunting success rate of fifty percent — higher than any other cat on the planet. It leaps three metres into the air, catches birds in flight, hears rodents moving underground, and quietly removes four thousand rats a year from the marsh. This is the story of the listener — how it hunts by sound alone, how a mother teaches her kittens to hear their dinner, and why the draining wetlands are falling silent around it. 🔔 Subscribe to SupremeWildlife for more faceless wildlife documentaries on Earth's most extraordinary animals — new documentaries regularly.
