The Caracal: The Cat That Snatches Birds From the Sky

It does not chase birds. It rises up and takes them out of the sky. 🐱 This is the true story of the caracal — the desert lynx with the black-tufted ears, an animal that can launch three metres straight up from a sitting start and knock a dozen birds out of the air in a single burst. Revered in ancient Egypt, wagered on in the courts of Persia and India, and still almost perfectly unseen across the dry countries of Africa and Asia. Meet the silent listener with radar ears and a coiled spring for legs — the cat that decided the first ten feet of the sky belonged to it. 🔔 Subscribe to SupremeWildlife for more faceless wildlife documentaries on Earth's most extraordinary animals — new documentaries regularly.
