The Wind Chimes Ring When The Air Is Still 😱 | Scary Horror Story
The wind chimes rang at 2:47 in the morning — and there was no wind. The candle on the nightstand burned dead straight. The curtains hung dead still. But five brass tubes swayed in a dark attic, ringing five falling notes... like something descending a staircase it could not see.
Daniel inherits his grandmother Ada's house on Grey Lake, and with it three rules: never oil the chimes, never stop them ringing, and if they ring when the air is still — count the notes, close the attic door, and say the names back.
The five notes are a lullaby for five drowned children the lake never gave back. Each note keeps one of them sleeping. But his grandmother, the singer, is dead — and one night Daniel hears a SIXTH note from five tubes. The lake has lost its singer. And it is counting.
