The Ostrich: The Giant That Outran the Sky

Out on the open plains, something moves that should not exist. It is a bird — but it will never fly. And it does not need to. 🦤 The ostrich is the largest bird alive on Earth and the fastest animal ever to run on two legs: 70 kilometers an hour, on strides three and a half meters long, with eyes bigger than its own brain and a kick that can break a lion's ribs. It gave up the sky — and conquered the ground. This is the story of the giant that outgrew flight: the dancer, the fighter, the desert survivor, and the ancient runner that walked with dinosaurs. 🔔 Subscribe to SupremeWildlife for more faceless wildlife documentaries on Earth's most extraordinary animals — new documentaries regularly.
