The Martial Eagle: The Sky's Deadliest Assassin

Nothing falls from the sky. There is no sound, no shadow, no warning. The martial eagle is Africa's largest eagle and its deadliest sky assassin - a silent sniper that kills from a clear blue sky no prey thinks to watch. 🦅 With a wingspan wider than a tall man is tall and vision eight times sharper than yours, she spots a monkey from four thousand metres up and stoops at two hundred kilometres per hour. Talons like lion claws punch through fur, bone and scale. Vervet monkeys, dassies, duiker and monitor lizards - over ninety species are on her menu. This is the story of the queen of the open sky - how she hunts, how she raises a single eaglet in the largest nest in Africa, and why farmers fear a bird that almost never touches their livestock. 🔔 Subscribe to SupremeWildlife for more faceless wildlife documentaries on Earth's most powerful predators - new documentaries regularly.
