The Baboon: The Troop Tyrant That Rules by Fear

Two hundred strong. No king by birth, no peace by treaty — only rank, fought for every single day. The baboon troop is Africa's most ruthless society: alphas who seize power in bloody coups, mothers who hire bodyguards to protect their babies from infanticide, daughters born into a caste they can never escape, and sentries whose bark turns two hundred animals into one wall of teeth. They raid farms like generals, mob leopards like rioters, and plant the savanna's forests by accident. This is the story of a city without walls — where loyalty is a contract, betrayal is a strategy, and survival belongs to the troop, not the individual.
