GAS. 2AM. A lonely desert gas station under a full moon. A chubby night shift clerk with a thick mustache is lounging on the counter eating Lay's chips, watching wrestling on a tiny TV. The lights flicker. Outside in the rain, a tall, thin alien with a large head walks toward the store. It enters, dripping water, and places a glowing silver bar with an alien symbol on the counter to pay. Then it walks outside to its ship - a beautiful, floating, almond-shaped spacecraft hovering with teal light. It tries to refuel it with the gas pump hose. The ship sputters and dies. The alien is stranded.
