Methi paratha recipe |wheat flour fenugreek paratha|methi ka paratha |methi|paratha|Doshu’skithen
Methi Paratha are flatbreads made with whole wheat flour, spices and fenugreek leaves methi leaves. These healthy, delicious & flavorful parathas are iron rich & make for a great breakfast or any time meal. “Methi” is a Hindi word for “fenugreek and “Paratha” is a word for “flatbreads”
These methi parathas are usually made plain and not layered. Methi parathas taste great on their own as they are mildly spiced.
To a mixing bowl, add
2 cup wheat flour/
1 teaspoon grated garlic and ginger
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon pomegranate powder
1 teaspoon chili flakes
1 tablespoon cooking oil
Method
1.To make methi paratha,combine all the ingredients in a bowl and knead into a soft dough using lukewarm.
2.After 10 min rest divide the dough in to equal portions
3.Roll the dough into a circle.
4.Heat tha tawa or pan,once hot place rolled paratha.
5.Now flip it and apply the oil or ghee what you like and cook both sides, remove it and serve with any sauce or pickle.
