A recent study conducted by American experts found that marriage has many medical benefits, but marriage between men and women has many more positive benefits.
American experts conducted research on all marriages in recent times, looking at the growing trend of same- and heterosexual marriages around the world.
According to research published in Duke University's medical journal, American experts analyzed the data of more than 154,000 couples to find out the benefits of marriage.
During the research, experts examined the marriages of male and female couples, including more than 2,600 same- couples and nearly 1,500 bisexual couples.
The number of male and female couples in the research was one and a half lakh and most of them had been married for many years.
The experts asked all the volunteers a series of questions, including questions about their health, social status, earnings, wealth, savings, peace of mind and happiness.
Experts concluded that marriage affects the physical and mental health of a person as a whole, however, marriage does not bring any special benefits to homosexuals and people interested in both sexes.
The results showed that even married couples with controversial orientations and homosexual orientations had worse lives and health than single individuals.
Research has shown that marriage between a man and a woman leads to peace of mind, happiness, intelligence and prestige in society, and it also has many physical benefits.
The results also revealed that naturally, marriage between men and women significantly reduces heart and mental illnesses, as marriage provides a better partner for everyone.
According to experts, the body temperature of married men and women also decreases significantly, due to which they stay away from diseases like joint pain, heart disease, heartburn and cancer.
