In a long Instagram post, the actor's mother wrote, 'I am unable to understand why our family is being punished and for what reason. My son Sheezan has been serving his sentence like a prisoner in jail without any evidence for the past one month. My daughter Falak is in hospital while Sheezan's younger brother who is autistic is sick. Is it a crime or illegal for a mother to love someone else's child as her own? Was it a sin or illegal to love Falak like Tunisha's little sister? Or was it a sin or illegal for Sheezan and Tunisha to end their relationship? Did we not have the right to love this girl because we are Muslims? Sheezan's sister and actress Shafaq Naaz also shared her mother's Instagram story on her Instagram account. It may be noted that earlier this month, the Palghar court had rejected Sheezan Khan's bail plea. He was arrested on December 25 for forcing actress Tunisha Sharma to commit suicide. Since then Sheezan Khan is in jail under judicial custody.
