If you don't know the astronomer and geologist Eugene Shoemaker then let us tell you his unique story. He is known to develop the procedures and methods utilised by Apollo astronauts to study the Moon. He also did a scientific study of cosmic impacts on the moon. Due to some medical issues, Eugene's passion for becoming an astronaut was marred.
