The very first verses revealed on Holy Prophet are of Surah Alaq. It is composed of 19 verses but only 5 verses were revealed in the beginning in Cave Hira, Makkah. In the recent Quranic order, it is the 96thsurah present in the 30th chapter of Holy Qur’an. It is also known as Surah Iqra (read), as Muhammad was told “Recite in the name of your Lord who created” by angel Jibraeel. The very first verse of Surah al Alaq stresses perusing and understanding the importance of the Holy Quran with the help of the Most Merciful, Allah Almighty. It has two fundamental orders in it: as a matter of first importance, to read and gain knowledge of Quran Majeed. Besides, ask Allah SWT to manage one to put the procured data into correct use and that is just conceivable with the Help of the Creator of the Universe. Surah Al-Alaq Benefits: Sunan Ibn Majah It was revealed that Jabir stated: "Mu'adh bin Jabal Al-Ansari drove his companions in the 'Isha' petition and he made it long. A man among us left and asked independent from anyone else. Mu'adh was told about that and he stated: 'He is a deceiver.' When the man found out about that, he went to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and revealed to him what Mu'adh had said to him. The Prophet (ﷺ) stated: 'Would you like to be a reason for Fitnah (preliminary, tribulation), O Mu'adh? When you lead the general population in petition, present "By the sun and its brightness,"[Ash-Shams 91] and "Celebrate the Name of your Lord the Most High," [Al-A'la 87] and "Constantly as it envelopes," [Al-Lail 92] and "Discuss in the Name of your Lord.'"[Al-'Alaq]
