Eggless Brownie Small Batch Crackle
Eggless small batch crackle top Brownie:
100 g dark chocolate (I used Callebaut)
38 g butter (salted)
100g powdered sugar (add upto 120g)
65 ml milk (warm/hot not boiling)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp yoghurt/dahi
85 g maida/all purpose flour
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
1/2 tbsp cornflour
Mix the milk & powdered sugar till the sugar completely dissolves. Do not skip this step. It is extremely important for the sugar to dissolve completely.
Add the vanilla & yoghurt to this, mix well & Set aside.
Melt the chocolate & butter and pour into the sugar mixture.
Sift the flour, cocoa & cornflour into the chocolate-sugar mixture. Fold until combined.
Take an 9x4 inch loaf pan lined with parchment. Pour the brownie batter, smoothen it.
Bake in a preheated oven at 175C for 25-30 mins approx. A toothpick inserted in the centre will come out with moist crumbs, not wet batter.
Let it cool COMPLETELY before slicing
