How to make chicken chilli dry
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions:
1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
2. Add the cumin, coriander, chili powder, turmeric, ginger, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and black pepper. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute.
3. Add the chicken and bell peppers and cook, stirring, until the chicken is cooked through, about 5 minutes.
4. Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, soy sauce, vinegar, and honey. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
5. Stir in the cilantro and serve.
