Keesa Hazrat Nuh (alaihissalam)
Hazrat Nuh (alaihissalam) was a prophet of Allah and the first of the Islamic prophets. He was born in the city of Shith in ancient Mesopotamia.
He is best known for building the ark, as described in the Quran, to save himself and his family from the great flood that Allah sent to destroy the people who had become corrupted and evil.
Hazrat Nuh (alaihissalam) was a patient and devoted servant of Allah and he preached the message of Allah for 950 years, but his people refused to listen to him. Finally, Allah ordered Hazrat Nuh (alaihissalam) to build an ark and take two of each kind of animal on board.
Hazrat Nuh (alaihissalam) obeyed Allah's command and built the ark, and after the floodwaters subsided, he and his family were the only survivors.
