BUSTED CHEATING RACKET (DUPLICATE NOTES DELIVERY) HELD (04) PERSONS On 01-02-2023 The Commissioner’s Task Force North Zone Team along with Police Nampally apprehended (04) Cheaters namely 1) Kanhaiyah Lal @ Jatin , 2) Ramavatar Sharma @ Mohan, 3) Bharath Kumar and 4) Ram Kishan and detected two cases pertains to Nampally P.S. Accused Apprehended:- 1) Kanhaiah Lal @ Jatin s/o.Ram Dayal, age: 30 years, Occ: Sliding Window Manufacture – Sri Balaji Industries at Howrah r/o. Tejrasar (V), Bikanir District, Rajasthan State, Present r/o. Babudanga, Salkia, Howrah .Cell.No. 8582999504, 9785260658 2) Ramavathar Sharma @ Mohan s/o.Muniram, age: 24 years, Occ: Sliding window marketing r/o.Sarotia (V), Churu District, Rajasthan State, Cell no.7044443889 3) Bharth Kumar s/o.Rameshwar Lal, age: 26 years, Occ: Sliding window Factory Worker r/o.Madpurasani Kawas (V), Barmer District, Rajasthan State,Present Babudanga, Salkia, Howrah, Cell no.8290862542. 4) Rama Kishan Sharma s/o.Bajranglal Sharma, age: 25 years, Occ: Rapido Bike Wala r/o.Sarotia (V), Churu District, Rajasthan State, Cell no.9054219461. Cases Involved by accused persons:- 1) Cr. No. 09/2023, U/sec.420 IPC of PS Nampally. 2) Cr. No.36/2023, U/sec.420 IPC of PS Nampally. Property Seized:- 1. Net Cash of Rs.72,50,000/-:- Modus Operandi:- The accused Kanhaiah Lal is doing sliding window business at Kalkatta. For his business transactions he used to take hand loans from known persons and return same in short periods. As he is not getting huge profits from his business, he planned to dupe people who believes him and gave hand loans. As a part of plan he decided to prepare duplicate currency notes bundles equals to his hand loan amounts with the assistance of his native i.e Rajasthan people Ramavathar Sharma, Bharath Kumar, Rama Kishan Sharma. Then planned to take hand loans from his known customers in Hyderabad and return duplicate bundles within a week or ten days. By this modus operandi he committed the following offences. On 24-12-2023 both Kanahaiah Lal and Ramavathar Sharma have taken hand loan Rs.30,00,000/- lakhs from Sri Mohd.Younus partner of Hotel Majestic, Nampally. Then accused with the help of Bharath Kumar and Ram Kishan Sharma prepared 30 lakh duplicate currency notes, wrapped in transparent polythene cover and return same on 01-01-2023. But the complainant checked same bundles on 03-01-2023 and stunned that he was cheated by the accused. Further on 26-12-2022 the accused Kanahaiah Lal and Ramavathar Sharma have taken Rs.50,00,000/- from Ikon Technologies India Pvt.Ltd, Madhapur duly promising to return same on 28-12-2022. Again the accused with the help of Bharath Kumar and Ram Kishan Sharma prepared 50 lakh duplicate currency notes, wrapped in transparent polythene cover and informed complainant to receive same near Moti Wines, Nampally Railway Station, Hyderabad. On that the representatives of Ikon Technologies viz., Sri.T.Pradeep Kumar and Sri Prasanth Joshi both met accused on 28-12-2022 around 1700 hours and taken currency bundles sealed in transparent polythene cover. After some time at about 17:30 hrs when Sri.T.Pradeep Kumar and Prashanth Joshi checked the notes and surprised to see that the notes given by them are Fake notes (One side plain). Immediately he tried to contact them (Kanhaiyah Lal & Ramavatar Sharma) but their phone numbers were switched off and informed about the Fake notes to their Company Management. Further he and Company Management tried to contact them and made several efforts but not able to contact them or find their whereabouts. The accused 1) Kanhaiyah Lal @ Jatin , 2) Ramavatar Sharma @ Mohan, 3) Bharath Kumar and 4) Ram Kishan spent some cash of out of easy gained money and again they all are came to Hyderabad for stay and dupe gullible customers. On receipt of credible information all are caught at Bhaskar Lodge Room No.401, near Rethifile Bus station, Secunderabad and recovered Rs.25,00,000/- pertains to Cr.No.9/2023 U/sec.420 IPC and Rs.47,50,000/- pertains to Cr.No.36/2023 U/sec.420 IPC of Nampally Police Station. The arrest was made under the supervision of Sri P.Radhakishan Rao, Dy. Commissioner of Police (OSD), Commissioner’s Task Force, Hyderabad lead by Sri.
