Float Switch Motor Control
My Work
Moter cotrol with float switch
A float switch is a type of level sensor that is used to control a pump or motor. It works by using a float that rises and falls with the liquid level, and as the float reaches a certain level, it activates the switch which then turns the motor or pump on or off.
For example, in a sump pump application, the float switch would be placed in the sump basin. As the water level rises, the float rises with it and activates the switch, turning on the pump. When the water level drops, the float falls and deactivates the switch, turning off the pump. This helps to ensure that the sump is kept clear of water and prevents the motor from running unnecessarily.
