After Sweden, Norway Finds Rare Metals & Minerals As Russia Eyes Extended Arctic Continental Shelf
A recent study from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) found large amounts of valuable metals and minerals. The minerals were found on the seabed of the country’s continental shelf in the Norwegian Sea and the Greenland Sea. Rare earth metals, copper, and other materials are in high demand for the role they play in the transition to a greener economy.
