BUSTED INTERSTATE CRICKET BETTING RACKET – HELD THREE PERSONS SEIZED NET CASH OF Rs. 12,05,000/- AND 04-CELL PHONES. The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, Hyderabad along with Shahinayathgunj Police apprehended one online Cricket Betting Gang. Total seized: Net cash of Rs. 12,05,000/- and 04 Cell Phones at the instance of accused persons. Names of the accused person:- 1. Vikas Agarwal age.40 yrs, Occ: Business, R/o Barkathpura, Hyderabad (Bookie) 2. Mahendra Patel, age.36 yrs, Occ: Business, R/o Goshamahal, Hyderabad (Punter) , N/o Gujarath State. 3. Rajendra Patel, age.36 yrs, Occ: Business, R/o Goshamahal, Hyderabad (Punter), N/o Gujarath State. 4. 1)Kanak R/o Hyderabad – Punter - Absconding 2) Ashwin Patel, N/o Gujarath – Punter - Absconding 3) Sagar R/o Mumbai – Punter - Absconding 4) Anil R/o Nagapur- Punter - Absconding 5) Chetan R/o Nagapur – Punter - Absconding 6) Karthik R/o Maharashtra State – Punter - Absconding 7) Prinsu R/o Raipur – Punter - Absconding Seized Property:- 1) Net Cash of Rs. 12,05,000/- 2) 04-Cell Phones. Brief facts of the case:- The prime accused Vikas Agarwal (Bookie) R/o Barkathpura, Hyderabad is having financial crisis. For which, he hatched a plan to earn easy money by organizing Cricket Betting through online applications. In this juncture, he came in contact with Mahendra Patel and Rajendra Patel and all are colluded each other to organize online cricket betting for earning huge benefits to fulfill their lavish desires and come out from their financial crises. In this regard they started organizing online cricket betting through Web Applications i.e. Radhe Exchange Goshamahal, Hyderabad by getting online cricket betting line from one Sagar, N/o Mumbai. Whileso, on 01.02.2023 they started online cricket betting by using cell phones for the match India vs New Zealand 3rd T20 at Ahmedabad with known punters by betting amounts and earning huge benefits illegally. The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, Hyderabad along with Shahinayathgunj Police apprehended the above said accused. Total seized net cash of Rs. 12,05,000/- and 04-Cell phones at the instance of accused persons. The apprehended accused and seized material handed over to SHO Shahinayathgunj police station for further action. The above arrests were made by Sri. S.
