The series embraces and celebrates the fascination that pre-schoolers have with both dinosaurs and trains while sparking interest in Life Science, Natural History and Palaeontology. Dinosaur Train encourages pre-schoolers to be inquisitive and use their basic scientific thinking skills to observe and learn about plants and animals in their natural habitat. Dinosaur Train is set in a whimsically realistic, prehistoric world of jungles, swamps, active volcanoes & oceans, teeming with dinosaurs & prehistoric animals and connected by a shining train line known as the Dinosaur Train. The Dinosaur Train circles the whole world-crossing oceans & inland seas, visiting the Mesozoic Era, the "Age of Dinosaurs," and passing through magical Time Tunnels to the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous time periods.
