US says threat of Russia invading Ukraine 'very high'

Hopefully there is still a peaceful solution. A war would be a disaster for everyone. Friends of us are living in Kiev. They speak Russian, see themselves as ethnic Russians and disagree with many things in Ukraine. But even they absolutely don't want to live in a Ukraine occupied by Russia.
