How To Calm a Ferocious Cow

Most breeds of cows are peaceful animals, but a few breeds are apt to be somewhat aggressive at times, and any cow may attack you under certain circumstances, such as if you get between her and her small calf. If you think a cow is about to attack you, keep your eyes on her and back away, quietly and carefully. Don’t make a lot of noise or wave or flap your arms, which might push her over the edge. Try to get to a spot you can get over a fence or up a tree, or at least behind a tree.
