*Cyberabad Traffic Jt. CP interactive meeting with traffic volunteers* Cyberabad Traffic Joint CP Shri Narayan Naik, IPS., today (10.2.2023) conducted a review meeting on the contribution of Traffic Volunteers of SCSC, during the process reviewed the traffic volunteers app developed by SCSC and had an interactive session with them at the Commissioner’s office, along with DCP Traffic Shri Harshavardhan, IPS., Participating in the meeting, Joint CP appreciated the efforts of the traffic volunteers and said that volunteering gives the best satisfaction to anyone, as this is like giving back to society as well as helping the traffic police, and regulating the traffic. He said every loss of life in traffic accidents is an irrecoverable loss to the family and every accident that can be prevented, it is a huge societal value they are adding, which can’t be measured in any way but can only be a self-satisfaction. Mr Krishna Yedula has thanked the volunteers who have been contributing regularly and invited more number of people to join the traffic volunteer movement he said that SCSC would also start visiting the gated communities to spread road safety awareness, apart from corporates, to encourage more people on road safety awareness and join the voluntary movement, by joining as traffic volunteers. He said the traffic volunteer initiative started way back in 2014 and the continuation of this has been possible only because of dedicated volunteers. Cyberabad traffic DCP Shri Harshavardhan, IPS., said that apart from supporting traffic police, he also encouraged volunteers to give suggestions by observing the ground-level situation, which would help the department to take certain decisions immediately.
