How to Apply Vibrance and Saturation in an image: Adobe Photoshop
In Adobe Photoshop, both "Vibrance" and "Saturation" are tools used to adjust the intensity of the colors in an image. However, there is a key difference between the two.
Saturation refers to the purity of a color. Increasing the saturation makes the colors in the image more intense and vivid while decreasing the saturation makes them more muted and grayed out. When you increase saturation to its maximum value, the image can become oversaturated and look unnatural.
Vibrance, on the other hand, is a more sophisticated tool for adjusting color saturation. It increases the saturation of less saturated colors more than the already saturated colors, preserving skin tones and other important details. This means that you can increase the vibrancy of an image without causing the oversaturation problem that can occur with the regular saturation tool.
In general, if you want to adjust the overall saturation of an image, use the Saturation tool. If you want to make the image more vibrant without causing unnatural saturation, use the Vibrance tool.
