This bird makes a big beak
Birds are a group of warm-blooded, feathered, and egg-laying vertebrates that make up the class Aves. There are over 10,000 species of birds, found all over the world, from the Arctic to the Antarctic.
Birds have a number of unique adaptations, such as the ability to fly, lightweight and strong bones, and a beak instead of teeth. They come in a wide range of sizes, from the tiny bee hummingbird, which can be as small as 2.4 inches (6 cm) long, to the ostrich, which can be up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall.
Birds feed on a variety of food, including seeds, fruit, insects, and small animals. They play an important role in many ecosystems as pollinators, seed dispersers, and as a food source for other animals.
Birds are also known for their diverse and complex vocalizations, and some species, such as the parrot and the raven, are known for their intelligence and ability to mimic sounds. In many cultures, birds are revered as symbols of freedom, beauty, and strength.
