Ken Kaneki is a university student who, as a result of a ghoul attack, ends up in the hospital, where he is illegally transplanted with the organs of the same and one of the strongest ghouls in order to save his life. In order to survive, ghouls need to eat human flesh, so they kill people or find the bodies of suicides.
