Here's a simple recipe for making Gulab Jamun at home: Ingredients: 1 cup of powdered milk 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp of baking powder 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder 3-4 tbsp of ghee or unsalted butter 3-4 tbsp of water (as needed) Oil for frying 1 cup of sugar 1 cup of water 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder 1 tbsp of rose water Instructions: In a bowl, mix together the powdered milk, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and cardamom powder. Add the ghee or unsalted butter and mix well. Gradually add water to form a soft dough. Knead the dough for a few minutes until it becomes smooth and soft. Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into small balls. Make sure there are no cracks on the surface. Heat the oil in a pan on medium heat. Once the oil is hot, reduce the heat to low and add the balls into the oil. Fry the balls until they turn golden brown. Remove them from the oil and place them on a paper towel to absorb any excess oil. In a separate pan, add the sugar, water, and cardamom powder. Bring the mixture to a boil and stir until the sugar dissolves. Add the rose water and continue to stir for a few more minutes. Turn off the heat and add the fried balls to the sugar syrup.
