The 2021 champions, Multan Sultans, won the match by 52 runs. Islamabad United won the toss and elected to bowl to first, but they were unable to restrict Multan Sultans as they were able to set a target of 191 runs to win the game. Multan Sultans had a decent innings despite the loss of an early wicket as Shan Masood was only able to score 3 runs.
