surah al kafirun with tajw
surah al kafirun with tajw
the Tajweed description of Surah Al-Kafirun (Chapter 109 of the Quran):
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ
Say, "O disbelievers,
لَا أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ
I do not worship what you worship.
وَلَا أَنْتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ
Nor are you worshippers of what I worship.
وَلَا أَنَا عَابِدٌ مَا عَبَدْتُمْ
And I will not worship what you have worshipped.
وَلَا أَنْتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ
Nor will you worship what I worship.
لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِيَ دِينِ
For you is your religion, and for me is my religion.
Some of the Tajweed rules for this Surah are:
The first letter "قُ" in "قُلْ" should be pronounced with a full mouth and should have a slight stretch.
The letter "ي" in "يَا" should be pronounced clearly and not too quickly.
The letters "ب" and "د" in "لَا أَعْبُدُ" and "وَلَا أَنْتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ" should be pronounced with a light and sharp sound.
The letter "ن" in "وَلَا أَنَا عَابِدٌ مَا عَبَدْتُمْ" and "وَلَا أَنْتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ" should have a nasal sound.
The letter "م" in "دِينُكُمْ وَلِيَ دِينِ" should be pronounced with a light sound and the "ي" should be pronounced with a slight stretch.
These are just a few examples of the Tajweed rules that apply to this Surah. Tajweed is the science of proper recitation of the Quran, and it helps to ensure that the words are pronounced correctly and with the appropriate tone and melody, so that the beauty and meaning of the Quran can be fully appreciated.
