10 MOST DANGEROUS BULLS IN THE WORLD
With a reputation for being bold and furious, bulls are reckoned to be hot-headed when provoked. They
are probably more feisty than other animals on the farm, they are more masculine and quite powerful
beasts, and they have a habit of being fiercely protective of their own – a combination that makes them
possibly the most dangerous animals you’ll find on any farm.
And today, we are about to show you the absolute toughest of the tough of the bovine world. You really
don’t want to upset these guys!
Hello dear viewer and welcome to yet another interesting episode of 100M, where we’ll look at the 10
most dangerous bulls in the world!
#10. Parteanaise Bulls
These large bovines originating from a region South of Nantes on the west side of France are loved for
their excellent temperament among other efficiency factors – which is rather counterintuitive really
since we’re supposed to talk about dangerous bulls, and one could argue that any breed that lacks a
questionable temperament has no business being on this list, really.
But while the Parteanaise cattle love to idly graze in grass fields, their docile nature isn’t to be mistaken
for their being incapable of aggression.
These are very muscular bulls with a sturdy build and are known to be fiercely protective of their own, a
combination that should hint at their aggressive reaction when provoked. And if that doesn’t sound like
a dangerous bull, then good luck with this one.
#9. Bazadise Bulls
These bulls too are not to be trusted. They may seem tame, but they hide a potentially dangerous
nature inside.
Bazadise bulls that haven’t been properly socialized with other herd members as calves have been
known to imprint on humans and display herd behaviors around people…like going for the headbutt to
demonstrate dominance. They may turn aggressive on any given day and severely injure or even kill a
person.
Farmers are advised not to play butting games with Bazadise calves. They may seem cute when they’re
young but very dangerous when they grow up.
While the risk of an attack can be reduced with proper socialization and management of
the Bazadise cattle, there is no such thing as a totally safe bull. All bulls are potentially dangerous farm
animals and their unpredictable temperament makes them a sure tragedy waiting to happen.
#8. Maine Anjou Bulls
The Maine-Anjou is another breed of cattle that originated from the northwestern part of France and
while they are mostly easy to handle and not as flighty as the other aggressive breeds you’ll see, they
have quite the reputation for being unpredictable.
They’ll be like kittens one moment and behave like wild dogs when agitated even in the slightest. So,
while they are known for their even temperament, Maine Anjou bulls can still be dangerous, especially
towards humans.
Ranches with Maine Anjou cattle often advise their visitors to be careful around the calves since the
mother cows are overly protective of their young, as much as the bulls are extremely defensive of their
territories.
#7. Texas Longhorn Bulls
The Texas Longhorns are a very interesting breed of cattle, known for their characteristically long,
curved horns. Despite their long and sharp horns giving the appearance of an aggressive animal,
longhorns are normally very quiet and gentle cattle. That’s not to say however that they cannot get
aggressive if provoked.
Longhorns will defend their young aggressively. And they are not too friendly with dogs so it’s advisable
to be extra cautious if you’re going to work your longhorns with dogs; especially if there are young
calves in the herd.
Longhorn bulls will also exhibit subtle signs of agitation if they feel threatened or when protecting their
territory. You’ll know that things just got serious when the bull puts its head down and paws at the
ground.
#6. Chianina Bulls
The Chianina is one of the largest and heaviest breeds of cattle in the world. Mature bulls stand up well
over 5 feet and it’s not unusual for individuals to exceed 3500 pounds in weight.
These extraordinarily large bulls trace their origin back to central Italy and the Roman Empire where
they were primarily used as a draught breed. Their tall stature, unfailing endurance, and overall
structural soundness made them ideal for the job, but their reputation for poor temperament made
them dangerous animals to handle.
They were often described as “crazy” for their rather unstable personality and individuals were said to
run the gamut from nervous to extremely aggressive, and even the most dedicated attempts to breed
docile temperaments into the Chi stock haven’t done much to tone down their aggressive nature.
