Driving with your girlfriend can be a wonderful experience, filled with new sights and adventures. Here's a short piece about a long drive with your girlfriend. We hit the road with the windows down, A long drive with my girl, no need to frown, The radio's playing our favorite songs, And we're cruising along, nothing's wrong. The world outside is passing us by, But we're lost in conversation, my oh my, The sun's setting and the sky's painted red, As we drive along, nothing needs to be said. We stop at a diner for a bite to eat, Our laughter and love, filling the seat, The food's okay, but the company's great, And that's all that matters on this date. Back on the road, the night is dark, But we're together, we'll make our mark, Our hands are intertwined, as we drive, And we know, we'll be okay, as long as we're alive. The moon shines bright, the stars twinkle above, And we share our dreams, our hopes, our love, The road goes on, as does our journey, But with you by my side, life is never dreary.
