SPORTS | PSL8 2023 | Quetta vs Islamabad | POINT TABLE
In cricket, the fielding team can appeal to the umpire if they believe a batsman is out. The appeal is usually made by the bowler or the wicket-keeper, and the umpire can give the batsman out or not out based on the rules of the game. However, a batsman cannot be given out unless the fielding team makes an appeal. So, even if the batsman clearly looks out, the umpire cannot give him out unless an appeal is made.
