Putin Brags of Nuclear Missiles, Zelensky Wants to Meet China

A Russian Su-25 fighter plane crashed near the town of Valyuki, in the Belgorod region, killing the pilot. Russia’s Defence Ministry said the plane crashed while returning to its airfield in the Belgorod Region. Kyiv claims Russia has launched over 5,000 missile strikes and 3,500 air strikes on Ukraine since the beginning of the invasion. Russia has fully reopened the Crimea bridge just a day before the first anniversary of Ukraine’s invasion. Meanwhile, Putin said he will deploy the new Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile this year following US reports that the weapon failed a recent test. OSCE parliamentarians at a meeting in Vienna walked out on Russia’s contribution in protest over Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine.
