MOVING IS STRESSFUL! These Philippine villagers seeing how lonely a man in their town had been since his wife died joined together to relocate the widower’s home so he could live closer to family. The journey took 2 hours.
*The Fillipini people call this "bayanihan" spirit. An expression of cooperation, unity, love and care by the neighborhood. It is voluntary and usually the community meet to agree on the schedule where volunteers could be maximized. It is usually agree upon and done on special occassions like Sunday after a mass, village fiesta or birthday of the owner , death or wedding anniversity etc A simple meal usually follows. * thank you Elisa Umoso
