PRESS NOTE APPREHENDED (03) DRUG PEDDLERS SEIZED 110 HASHISH BALLS/ CHOCOLATES (TOTAL WEIGHING 660 GRAMS) AND 02 MOBILE PHONES. The sleuths of the Hyderabad Narcotic Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) along with Miyapur PS Police have apprehended (03) Drug Peddlers. Who were found in illegal possession of Narcotic Drug i.e., Hashish Balls\Chocolates under Miyapur PS limits, Rangareddy. Total 110 Hashish Balls/Chocolates and (02) mobile phones are seized at the instance of the accused. DETAILS OF THE ARRESTED DRUG PEDDLERS: - 1) Dudaram Chowdari, S/o Late Bikaram Chowdary, Occ: Kiranam General Store, R/o Hafeezpet, Miyapur. 2) Shanthi Devi, W/o Dudaram Chowdary, Occ: Kiranam General Store, R/o Hafeezpet, Miyapur. 3) Mahender Kumavath, S/o Bhawarlal, Occ: Gas Supplier Boy, R/o New Hafeezpet, Miyapur. SEIZED MATERIAL: - 1) 110 Hashish Balls/Chocolates (Total weighing 660grams) 2) 02 Mobile phones. BRIEF ABOUT ACCUSED: The accused 1) Dudaram Chowdari and 2) Shanthi Devi are wife and husband and are running a Kiranam general store at Premnagar Colony, Hafeezpet under Miyapur Police Station. In the guise of General store, they are illegally selling Hashish (a product from Ganja) balls/chocolates to the needy customers at the price of Rs.100/- per each ball. The above Hashish balls/chocolates are being supplied by Mahender Kumavath, who in turn purchasing them form Rajasthan On credible information, Narcotic Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) along with Miyapur PS apprehended the drug peddlers and Seized 110 Hashish Balls/Chocolates (Total weighing 660grams) and 02 Mobile Phone from their possession. APPEAL TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC: - In recent times we have seen several youth/students getting addicted to Drugs, committing crime and involving in other anti-social activities. Several families have become victims of this menace. It is an ardent request from Hyderabad City Police to the youth/students not to fall prey to drugs and request the parents to keep a watch on the activities of their children and feel free to approach police or pass information to Police on Phone No. 8712661601 to curtail such anti-social activities and strive for Drug free city. The above arrests were made under the supervision of Sri Chakravarthy Gummi, DCP, Hyderabad-Narcotics Enforcement Wing (H-NEW), Sri P. Ramesh Reddy, Inspector of Police, H-NEW, Sri C.
