Ingredients:
8-10 small gobhi (fish)
1 onion, finely chopped
1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
2 teaspoons cumin seeds
1 teaspoon coriander seeds
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 cup plain yogurt
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1-2 tablespoons ghee or oil
To Serve:
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
1/4 cup chopped fresh cumin
1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander
1/4 cup chopped fresh turmeric
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh mint
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh basil
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions:
1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the cumin and coriander seeds. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Add the ground turmeric and salt and cook, stirring, for 1 minute.
2. Add the gobhi and onion and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
3. Add the bell pepper and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
4. Add the yogurt, cilantro, ghee, and salt and pepper to taste. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
5. Reduce the heat to medium and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes.
6. Serve the gobhi pakora with the yogurt, cilantro, onion, bell pepper, mint, basil, cumin, coriander, and turmeric.
