Life of Junaid Jamshed in brief: On September 3, 1964, in Karachi, Junaid Jamshed was born. He was also known as J.J. by his coworkers and fellow artists. He was welcomed by conservative Pakistanis and joined the Maulana Tariq Jameel-led Tablighi Jamaat. Junaid Jamshed wanted to pilot a fighter jet. His poor vision, however, made it impossible for him to pass the test. Junaid Jamshed, the son of Air Force Colonel Jamshed Akbar, formed the Pakistan Air Force. Junaid Jamshed joined the Jamaat actively and travelled over the world to preach the religion. The religious leanings of Junaid Jamshed angered his former collaborators, especially one of his most dependable media industry acquaintances in Shoaib Mansoor. Afterwards, Shoaib created the film Khuda Ke Liye, which was influenced by Junaid Jamshed and his interest in religion as opposed to music.
