Besiktas fans showed their support for earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria by throwing thousands of stuffed toys onto the pitch during their match against Antalyaspor. The Turkish Super Lig game was paused after 4min 17sec, the time the earthquake first struck Turkey on February 6. The football team stated that the toys will be donated to children in the earthquake region.
