Dear Viewers: The great Greek philosopher Socrates was sentenced by the court of the Republic of Athens to drink a cup of poison, which he happily drank even though his disciples told him that the prison authorities had been heavily bribed and Socrates was released from prison. The best plan to get away is made, but Socrates refuses, saying that he can't break the law by doing it. Socrates had great respect for religious rites and social rules, but was highly critical of prevailing ideas and prejudices in religion and politics. The interests of the ruling class are associated with the prevailing ideas and prejudices of any society, that's why the ruling class turned against Socrates and made false accusations against him. These accusations were three. 1. It is misleading our youth.
2. It does not obey our gods
3. It presents the concept of a separate God whom no one has seen.
