Russia Downs Missiles in Border Region

Ukraine has said that it struck two positions of Russian military in the Melitopol district. Exiled Mayor of Melitopol claims that the strikes may have killed hundreds of Russian soldiers. Ukraine said that it shot down 13 out of 15 kamikaze drones launched by Russia overnight. Ukraine said that its forces killed over 630 Russian troops and repelled over 95 attacks. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has described the current battle in Donbas as “difficult and painful”. Russia said that its air defence units shot down three missiles in the Belgorod region on March 6. Ukrainian military intelligence claims that Russia will run out of military tools by the end of spring. Ukraine claims that Russia has used new 1,500-kilogram UPAB-1500B gliding bombs for the first time. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has said that the West will provide security guarantees to Kyiv after the war ends.
