- including the new walruses! Watch as keeper Stephanie trains 6-year-old walrus Balzak with restaurant-quality, sustainable seafood. Having the walrus siblings voluntarily participate in their own healthcare allows keepers to monitor them and better care for the growing walruses. Balzak now weighs more than 2,020 pounds, but still has some growing to do as a young walrus. Fully grown males can weigh up to 5,000 pounds!
