Aaj-kiya-baat-hye-poetry-status-sad
Tears fall down like rain,
As I sit here in this pain.
My heart is heavy with sorrow,
And there seems to be no tomorrow.
I try to smile through the tears,
But the memories of you still appear.
Your absence is like a gaping hole,
That consumes me, body and soul.
I thought we had forever,
But now we're apart, and it feels like never.
The laughter and love we shared,
Has now turned to despair.
The world keeps spinning around,
But I'm stuck here, broken and bound.
The emptiness inside me grows,
As I try to forget what I once chose.
The sadness grips me tight,
And I know I won't see the light.
But maybe one day, I'll be free,
From this misery that now defines me.
