It is also known as Surah Ash-Sharh and is a Makki Surah, revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) during the early days of his prophethood. The Surah speaks of the concept of hardships and how they are followed by ease and expansion, reminding believers to be patient and grateful during difficult times.
