Manchester United have beaten Brentford 1-0 in their Premier League fixture, courtesy of a first-half finish from Marcus Rashford. Erik ten Hag's side dominated from the opening whistle at Old Trafford and were rewarded after Rashford converted from close range in the 27th minute. Brentford searched for an equaliser in the second half, with substitute Kevin Schade coming closest for the visitors. Ten Hag's side, however, held on for the victory and three points, which sees them return to the Champions League places as they leapfrogged Tottenham Hotspur into fourth position in the league table.
