Russian Ka-52 Downed, Putin’s Forces Launch 245 Attacks In Bakhmut, “NATO Doors Open For Ukraine”

Ukraine said the Russian army has killed five civilians and wounded nine others over the past day in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian officials recorded 229 strikes during the day from various weapons, including MLRS, mortars, artillery, and grenades. Ukraine said its forces have killed over 390 Russian troops over the past day. UK’s Defence Ministry said that Russia is likely to dismiss more military officers as its army continues to fail in Ukraine. The Ukrainian military said heavy battles are raging as Russia continues its attempt to fully capture the eastern city of Bakhmut. The White House has said that the US does not “enable or encourage Ukrainians to strike outside of Ukraine”. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and Putin began a two-day summit in Moscow discussing weapons in Belarus. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has said that Ukraine has every prospect of becoming a member of NATO. Lavrov said Russia needs to “continue to support” its US relations despite Washington supporting the Ukrainians.
