Ukraine Downs Six Russian Drones, Land Forces Chief Visits Bakhmut

Ukraine claims the Russians are losing two units of army or up to 400 soldiers in Avdiivka and Mariinka every day. Kyiv said the Russian army still refuses to "give up hope” for a successful offensive in the areas. Kyiv also said that it repelled 58 Russian attacks in the eastern region over the past day. Ukraine said that its forces have killed over 670 Russian troops over the past day. Zelensky used his evening address on Easter Sunday to address what he called "the defeat of evil”. Russia said that its forces killed over 250 Ukrainian troops in the Donetsk region over the past day. Ukraine said that Russia was forced to involve special forces and airborne assault units in Bakhmut. The Ukrainian military said Russian forces continue their push to take "full control" of Bakhmut. An apparent leak of Pentagon documents from February reveal that Ukraine’s air defences risk running out of missiles within weeks. The leak also appears to show Washington spying on close US allies, including Ukraine, South Korea and Israel.
