Today this is me and tomorrow this might be you. I am quitting YouTube you want to know why? first of all my views are not increasing, furthermore, I am creating gaming content since 2021 and I think of myself as a professional gamer but I've come to realize that either people prefer to consume cheap, low effort content and cringe material over well produced and professional content or YouTube itself is not promoting me well enough and according to me this is nothing more than nepotism. During the course of my content creation I have been unable to achieve 4k hours watch time on my videos and even the most views that my short have reached is 5k even though shorts are easily promoted. One thing to note is that most of my traffic and views are from Russia but are not counted as legitimate traffic due to the Russia Ukraine war and I just want to ask is the war in Ukraine my fault? My question for YouTube is that they are promoting meme gamers and lame gaming content creators over professionally produced gaming content. I am unable to comprehend you tube's behavior and in my opinion in the coming years YouTube itself will be a hub of degenerate content. The next issue i have with you tube's policy is regarding their monetization requirements as they are too tough for upcoming small and independent creators like and at times i feel like there's no support for me anywhere as i have contacted YouTube support so many times regarding this matter but so far I haven't even received a single reply from YouTube support. These claims of mine are not baseless as I have been streaming simultaneously on multiple platforms like Facebook and Twitch and am receiving a much better response from these sites. In the end all i want to say is that I am feeling totally disheartened and frustrated with the current state of things as things are looking hopeless for me and I am confused whether i continue uploading videos here or completely switch to another platform.
